House Tour, Danielle – Durham, NC

I met Danielle this past year when she agreed to do some photography work for the Rock & Shop Market. In addition to being a great photographer, she also has an eye for decorating her home. I’d love to walk into her handsome foyer on a daily basis.

Below she shares some photos of her past and present living spaces as well as insight into what makes a house a home.

“A home is somewhere that your friends take off their shoes and curl up on the couch and watch a bit of TV. It is the kind of place I strive for, no matter how big or small my actual house is. Even now, my house is TINY but it is interesting – and color matters. rarely is a HOME all white. I know it is the hip thing to do, a trend in decorating now, but it is so stark and minimal. and, if you had to splurge on anything, i say have really really comfy blankets and throws.”

Thanks for sharing, Danielle!
