No Boundaries

For about 2 weeks this past Fall, 17 artists from 12 countries gathered on Bald Head Island, NC for the biennial No Boundaries Artist Colony. No Boundaries was founded in 1996 by Wilmington artists Pam Toll, Gayle Tustin, and Dick Roberts. The best thing about the Colony, according to Pam Toll in Megan V. Williams’ article, “is that it gives artists the freedom just to be artists, ‘without worrying about making dinner, or worrying about paying bills, or… whatever they usually have to do in the course of a day.’”

Jacob Rudolph recently completed this 13 minute video about the formation of No Boundaries, filmed in 2006.
