Rebus Works

Two great events made Rebus Works the place to be this weekend:

Yesterday, Rebus Works hosted an Artist Lecture with Casey Porn and David Eichenberger. This lecture was in conjunction with the closing of their exhibition, Epic Battle.

And today is the third annual RebusFest. RebusFest is a one-day, family-friendly celebration of local art and music. Music will be provided by Tin Star, Magic Babies, Kenny Roby’s Mercy Filter, The Static Minds, The Loners, and DJ Midnite Cowbwoy. Artists that will be selling work will include Julie Armbruster, Matthew Barton, Caroline Cobb Wright, Gabriella Corter, Captive Collective, Johanna Ely, Mara Friedland, Sivana Gur, Abie Harris, Curtis Krueger, Clifton May, Sonya Coulson Rook, Ronnie Tomany, and David Walser. RebusFest will take place from 1-6pm.

Rebus Works is located at 301-2 Kinsey Street in Raleigh.

While on their website, be sure to check out Rebus Works’ Daily Image Project. Each day at 1pm Rebus Works posts a new image by a Rebus Works artist that can be purchased as a limited edition archival print. This month’s Daily Image Project features RebusFest artists Julie Armbruster, Gabriella Corter, Abie Harris, and David Eichenberger.
