I am a fairly voracious reader, and I love bookstores, but I only buy books that I know I will want to read again and again. The Durham Library has a convenient online catalog, wide variety of books to choose from, and eccentric staff who remind me of the librarians I knew growing up. I go at least twice a week. - ABBA

Katharine Hepburn presents her memoir as a collection of stories from her life. She doesn’t apologize, and she doesn’t feel sorry for herself. She had a genuine affection for people, and a charmingly matter-of-fact way of talking about her love life. Her sense of humor and self-awareness mixed with unadorned honesty make this book an engrossing read that stays with me. - Our house
My husband and I bought our first home last September, and we have fallen in love. We are constantly making plans and getting excited about things like foundation shrubs and closet doors. I never thought it would be so much fun, and having someone to share it with is the best part!
