IndieNC/The Conquerors and LoPop Shop

Artspace has some exciting events going on this Friday, September 4th, including the opening of The Conquerors. The exhibition was co-curated with local artist Paul Friedrich, and features the work of five nationally known Lowbrow artists that will be exhibiting in Raleigh for the first time: Liz McGrath, Mark Bodnar, Mari Inukai, Bill McRight, and Bonnie Brenda Scott. The exhibition will be on display through October 24.

In conjunction with the opening of The Conquerors, Artspace will feature the LoPop Shop from 6-10pm during the First Friday Gallery Walk. The LoPop shop was organized with the assistance of artist Casey Porn, and will feature local artists working in the LoPop style. This will be a great opportunity to buy original works of art, shirts, posters and more from regional LoPop artists including Ahpeele, Paul Friedrich, IndieNC, Garret Scales, Plastic Frame Press, Casey Robertson and more!
